Arts Department - 2025 Calendar Fundraiser

The School’s Art department is selling a limited edition 2025 calendar. 

Featuring watercolour paintings of some of Leaside’s favourite establishments 

painted by thirteen very talented grade 9 students from last year!

All proceeds will fund a green wall at LHS.

What is a Green Wall?

There are many spaces that have come alive with visual art here at Leaside High School, such as the Booth Gallery and Window!  With all the Installation Art happening around the school, we thought it would be a great idea to create a permanent space where plants can flourish and grow on a wall all year long.  With the help of the visual art students, we are designing a wall of plants in the Atrium. Once installed, students will plant it with plants and maintain it throughout the year.  

We are  very proud of this initative as it highlights students work, brings community together and helps raise funds for a future green space at Leaside High School.  We are hoping to sell as many calendars as possible to make our goal a reality.
