Leaside High School Council Meeting Calendar

Leaside High School Council holds between 4-8 meetings a year (both in-person and virtual), which are open to all members of the LHS community, and are an excellent way for all parents, caregivers and guardians to get involved in the performance and success of our school.

Meetings are at 6:30pm and usually last until 8:00pm. LHS Council’s 23/24 meeting dates are as follows:

September 28, 2023 (in person- Location - school library)
November 2, 2023 (in person- Location - school library)
December 6, 2023 (in person- Location - school library)
January 25, 2024 (virtual)
March 7, 2024 (in person- Location - school library)
May 2, 2024 (virtual)
June 13, 2024 (in person- Location - school library)

Council acknowledges that Thursday does not work for all parents/caregivers/guardians. It is important that we achieve quorum at our meetings. The dates selected were based on council members availability.

We will provide Reports & Updates in advance of meetings and by forming committees, which parents can join, we hope that we can increase parent/caregiver/guardian involvement.
