Careers Night 2024-25

The School Council Events committee is pleased to invite students (and parents) to the first night of a 2 part series. 

Careers Night Part 1 will be a virtual event, allowing students to participate from the comfort of home.   Careers Night Part 2 will be an in-person event to be scheduled for early January.

Careers Night Part 1

We have 9 presenters for Careers Night Part 1.  The flyer will be put up around the school for easy access to the registration form by students.  Please have your students review the backgrounds of the presenters as many have taken a number of turns in their careers before ending at their current position.

• WHEN:  Wednesday Nov 27

• TIME:   7:00 - 8:00pm  (2 sessions will run during this time.  Come for 1 or 2)

• LOCATION : Virtual meeting.  (meeting link will be sent to registered participants by noon on Nov 27)

Careers Night Part 2

Due to low registration we have made the difficult decision to cancel this event

Leaside High School Council is pleased to host Part 2 Careers Evening open to all grades.   Students can hear from Leaside High parents as they share their education and career journeys and respond to questions from participants.

Part 2 is an in-person event.  We have 12 presenters covering a wide range of professions.  Presenters have been grouped together into 4 sessions.  Each presenter will present once during the evening.
